Service

Service is one of the core values of the ENR Scholars program–it’s the application of our sustainability and community values and an opportunity to learn while we impact the larger Columbus community. Whether it’s planting trees, getting in kayaks and cleaning the Olentangy River, or participating in our own Earth Month Challenge, we love helping make our community, campus, and Earth a better place.

Every year ENR Scholars participate in hours of service together in the following projects:

Fawcett Center Eco-Restoration
-Invasive species removal
-Native tree planting
-Trash clean-up

Olentangy River Clean-up
-Partner with FLOW (Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed)
-Kayak/canoe the river
-Trash removal
