1. Increase/Retain vital community workers through student involvement in extracurricular and community-based activities
I. Incentivizing youth within the community through the implementation of student planning committees for local festivals and events – short term
II. Establish an after-school program for students to better their appreciation and understanding for the outdoors and sustainability (ESSI – Edenburrow Student Sustainability Initiative) – short term
III. Campbellot based Technical School (high school aged and on) provided through local natural resource management companies to gain skills-based learning directly corresponding to workforce employment – long term
2. Improve and Revitalize Essential Community Infrastructure
I. Develop a Community Center that highlights history, culture, and provides a place for local outreach – long term
II. Repair roads and water treatment/management facilities – short and long term
III. Place a tax on fossil fuel extraction to obtain funds for improved infrastructure – short term
3. Acquire new sources of income outside of extraction in order to fund infrastructure repairs and student/community involvement programs
I. Continue to cultivate and expand an ecotourism industry based on the rich natural environment featuring draws of the timber industry (treehouses, maple syrup, “carpen-tree”) – long term
II. Establishment of camping grounds on the remaining natural landscape – short term
III. Marketing cultural festivals including the annual Fall Forest Festival to community members and the nation of Campbellot – short term
