Community Development Goal 1: Build up cultural capital by fostering community through community outreach.
Proposed action steps to achieve this goal:
1. Found a community arts program to encourage the creative to stay in Barnaclebae.
2. Connecting with the rural parts of the community will increase cultural capital and help unify the community.
3. Work with the university and its students to start an annual Earth Day Festival that involves the whole community. It will include an community created art exhibit and a community clean up event.
Community Development Goal 2: Boost the community’s economy through business development in key sectors.
Proposed action steps to achieve this goal:
1. Work with Ohithere Star University to encourage entrepreneurship and form a stronger connection with local businesses to keep students in the city.
2. Invest in electric vehicles to revitalize the car trade, create jobs, and give purpose to the old, abandoned car factories.
3. Offer incentives to attract new industries to diversify the economy.
Community Development Goal 3: Build up the infrastructure while retaining natural capital by investing in transportation and public goods.
Proposed action steps to achieve this goal:
1. Build a sustainable transportation system to connect the urban and rural areas of Barnaclebae.
2. Build hiking trails, bike paths, etc. in Central Park to increase community connection to the environment, and start a children’s camp (Camp Sunny Smiles) that gets them out in nature and teaches them good environmental habits.
3. Build more public schools either by proposing a bond or an increase in property tax.
