The Bikini Bottom Shuttle will soon be in operation and will provide cheap, fast, and safe travel options for its citizens.
Safe and Affordable
The Bikini Bottom Shuttle has undergone extensive testing to ensure that it is as efficient as possible. The team investigated the best propeller configuration, as well as modified a braking system to conserve energy and make the AEV’s stopping as accurate as possible. Because of these additions to the AEV, the AEV averaged only 148 joules per test run and completed the test runs in a quick 53 seconds. The high efficiency of the AEV keeps costs low and makes it affordable for passengers. The AEV also had to follow multiple constraints within the performance tests to ensure it is safe for people to ride. During these tests, the AEV consistently stopped within the safe part of the loading zones, did not experience any recoil when attaching the load, and was very stable on the test track. All of these elements combine to prove that the AEV is very safe for passengers to ride.
