Farm Land Sustainability Introduction

Farm land sustainability will impact all of us throughout our lives.  Sustainability is defined as “the quality of not being harmful to the environment, depleting natural resources, and thereby supporting long-term ecological balance” (“The Definition of Sustainability”).  If we are unable to use our land to the best of our ability, food prices will increase, and there won’t be enough food for everyone that needs it.  The evolution of technology has created solutions to help sustain our land, but within these solutions are new problems.
