Approach/Vision
The vision of Team P is to have a working AEV for under the maximum budget. The approach to doing this is focus on creating a good design relatively quickly, then to focus on refining code for optimal performance. We want to have an efficient AEV that finishes the job quick while using the lowest amount of energy possible.
Our Evolution of Design can be located in the Background page
Our Meeting Notes can be located here
And finally, if you are interested, our final results, conclusions, and recommendations can be found here
Here are some quick highlights from that.
- Total cost was $504,084.
- The Final Performance Test required only 143J
- The Final Performance Test was completed in under 53 seconds
- 3D Printing our own parts allowed us to keep capital costs under $137,134
