January

Meeting #1

Date: 21-Jan-2017

Time: 8.30 p.m. (Face-to-Face)

Members present:  Aniki Zarif, Luqman Shukri, Aiman Zainal Abidin, Fadhli Sabri

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Objective:

Today’s focus was on the coding of scenarios 1 and 2

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

To do/Action items:

– Fix errors in coding: enable motors to run at the same time (All)

– Improvise coding to produce maximum efficiency (All)

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Decisions:

The team decided that the coding would not allow the motors to run exactly at the same time and settled using the “if” function to make the time difference between the motors in only few milliseconds

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Reflections:

– The team plans to test the coding during lab hours

– The coding will need improvising

Meeting #2

Date: 30-Jan-2017

Time: 4.00 p.m. (Face-to-Face)

Members present:  Aniki Zarif, Luqman Shukri, Aiman Zainal Abidin, Fadhli Sabri

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Objective:

Today’s focus was on choosing an angle to execute the design of AEV, finding a solution to the problem faced in scenario during Lab 2, where the AEV did not move as wanted and the improvisation needed to be made on both the coding and AEV. Problems faced during lab 2 are aimed to be solved during extra lab on 31st January 2017

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

To do/Action items:

– Improvising coding: Enable AEV to move to the targeted position (Fadhli, Aniki)

– Finding design for AEV: using the Internet (Fadhli, Luqman, Aiman, Aniki)

– Improvising the design of AEV: testing parts such as propellers (Aiman, Luqman)

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Decisions:

The team decided that the coding would need to be changed in terms of power used by the motors. This is to enable the AEV to move as well as being an experiment to observe how the AEV will move to certain amount of power

– The team decided to change the propellers to experiment on how differently the AEV move using different propellers

– The team decided that the design must be applicable and at the same time efficient in terms of energy consumption

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Reflections:

– The team plans to test the coding as well as the new build during lab hours

– The design will need improvising in the future to improve efficiency
