Economic and Social value

Economic impact:

Potential revenue would include the revenue made from selling the waste that was collected by the vehicle. The waste could be sold as raw materials. Another way to make money from the operation is to replicate a business model that is employed by 4Ocean, where they turn the collected plastic into bracelets that can be bought by the general public at a marked up price. We can do something similar to that. We can also make money by selling the vehicles to different government bodies, including cities, states, and even different countries. We can also sell the vehicles to waterparks, which need the vehicles to clean their various pools and attractions. Once our customers own these vehicles, they will need to maintain them, and this provides us with another stream of revenue. We can sell our proprietary parts and maintenance for the upkeep of the vehicles.

Social impact:

By implementing our vehicle system, we can potentially provide additional jobs to the area in which the vehicle is being used. Jobs would include, but not limited to, factory workers to build the machine, dumping grounds work, and maintenance work. The number of people in each section will be determined by the need for that particular job. We will also be impacting the health of the ecosystem by cleaning up toxic waste, which in turn affects the health of the local population. Clean water leads to a healthy environment. A healthy environment leads to happy animals and happy people, which boosts the morale and productivity of a civilization.
