Our Mission

Ohio Gulf Engineering is a company dedicated to solving the urban desert crisis in the Linden area of Columbus, Ohio. We plan to achieve this goal through the use of Advanced Energy Vehicles in public transportation and the Smart City Columbus initiative.  The Linden area is considered to be an urban desert.  This is because the area lacks many necessary services and employment centers such as healthcare centers, grocery stores, and banks.  Additionally, transportation in Linden is in need of assistance.  There is a severe lack of covered bus stops and 3 of the 25 most dangerous intersections in Columbus are in Linden.  This shows that advancements in public transportation is a very much needed.  Ohio Gulf Engineering’s plan to  achieve this mission is to build monorail train lines from Linden to Polaris and from Linden to Easton.  The monorail train will be powered by an Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV).  This AEV will be driven from electric motors running a propeller system.  This will allow for an efficient travel system that has very little impact on the environment.  This system will also give the 30,000 citizens of Linden access to much needed commerce, employment, and opportunity.
