Team P’s Approach to MCR and Sales Pitch

Approach Towards Creating an AEV

Our approach to making this AEV is pretty simple. We will try and make it as safe as possible, but at the same time create a vehicle that is, light, robust, and fast. We expect the research and development in this project to take a large amount of time commitment in order to achieve our final goal. Our division is focusing on minimizing the amount of parts going into the AEV to make it cost efficient and lightweight as well. The AEV will also have to be aerodynamic. Our future design is visioned to be a compact tram-like chassis with uniform sides. This compact, symmetrical design will account for an even weight distribution, cost effectiveness, and safety as it transports people across the city.

Sales Pitch

Our vehicle will change the transportation system in Columbus, Ohio. It will reduce traffic by being stationed above the ground and increase the productivity of the city by being completely automated. Based on its automation alone, the AEV can be used at any time throughout the day and will cost very little due to no human wages needing to be paid. Its robust design avoids damage and provides the least amount of maintenance as evident of its protective shell and its well balanced chassis. It can successfully travel any distance safely thanks to our advanced fail-safe coding, which boasts a smooth and timely travel picking passengers up and dropping them off. With just a few more adjustments to optimize its travel, it will be able to save money and time. Finally, combined with the likes of a canoe, and an airplane, this advanced energy vehicle can fulfill the look of the future.
