The first prototype of the group’s AEV can be seen below. The group was set on this design, but the base needed to be slightly modified due to dimension constraints.
This is a complete drawing with basic dimensions of the AEV.
This is an exploded view of the AEV with all of the parts that will be used for the assembly. A majority of the parts are given to the group. It was decided that the T-frame in this drawing will not be used. Instead, the T-like Frame that is given to the group will be used instead. Also, the battery holder in this drawing was designed by the team. However, the battery holder that was given to the group will be used instead.
This is a drawing of the shell of the AEV. This design is shaped similar to an airplane with wings and a nose at each end of the shell. It is aimed to be as aerodynamic and lightweight as possible. However, this part, along with the rest of the AEV, still needs to be modified. As of this time, the shell is too big to be 3D printed.
