5)  Specific Team Member Responsibilities/Deadlines

No one holds a specific role- all responsibilities are shared equally and distributed on a task-to-task basis.  If a problem arises, reevaluate each member’s contributions.

6)  Conflict Resolution

If a problem arises within the group, these steps will be followed to come to a civil conclusion that is conducive to all team mates:

  1. With all members present, and making sure everyone has a chance to speak, discuss the problem and try to come up with a working solution.
  2. Invite the professor or GTA to have a discussion like the initial discussion with the group to attempt to come up with a solution.
  3. If no solution is reached by the group, allow the GTA or professor to make a final decision.

7)  Expectations of Faculty and GTA’s

Faculty and GTA’s will be attentive when the group reports a problem, but the group is still responsible for all work and assignments.  The Faculty and GTA will be available to discuss and mediate with any problems and make a final decision if necessary.  Overall, allow the group to operate without interference.
