Group L

This semester our team will work on creating an electric motor-powered vehicle, called an AEV, which travels along a monorail track suspended from the ceiling. The car is powered by a Li-Po battery and programmed using Arduino software.  This works as the inspiration for Smart City Columbus, which aims to help the people who live in the city. People will be able to move around the city and move from their job to their home to wherever they need to go easily and efficiently. This will allow for more equal sharing of jobs and opportunities, as well as greater access to food and other vital resources.  People will not be limited to areas within walking distance of their homes. They will be able to travel all around the city.

Please view our Sales Pitch for a complete explanation of the benefits of our AEV.
