AEV stands for Advanced Energy Vehicle. Our AEV is a small, autonomous, electric vehicle that runs on a lithium battery. This battery powers two motors, which are connected to propellers, pushing the vehicle forward. This vehicle travels by wheel along a monorail track. The vehicle is to first travel up a small incline and stop at a gate to pick up passengers. It must then travel carefully back down the incline to safely deliver the passengers to the loading zone. Team M is approaching this project with our top priorities in mind: the safety of our passengers and our tight budget.
