GRANT PROPOSAL

Hello, we are group A in Company Baker International. The part is a proposed battery holder. The X-shape helps with support and the battery will fit snug inside. The X will be attached to the bottom of the AEV with the open side facing down. The team will not have to worry about the battery falling out because it will be a tight, perfect fit. It will improve the AEV because the battery will be easy to get out once we are finished with running it, rather than the sample which made it complicated to insert and remove the battery. The battery holder is placed on the bottom right of the AEV, as shown in picture C. The Arduino will be places on the top left of the AEV to evenly distribute the weight. The battery holder itself would weigh approximately 4.96 grams, which would be lighter than the current battery holder. Using this design would help decrease the weight of the AEV, which improves aerodynamics, and make battery placement easier and faster.
