Brynn’s Preliminary Design

Brynn’s first concept design sketch was based off a more angular design than that of the reference AEV design. The idea was to have a sturdy AEV yet allow it to be more efficient at the same time. Although difficulties arose when trying to think of ways to incorporate both of these concepts, the first concept design for the AEV project was created. The pros of this design was the curved front of the AEV and the centered arm. The curve will help the with efficiency rather than the box-like front the sample AEV had and the centering will help with the stability of the AEV when it is moving. The cons of this design was the placement of the battery and Arduino. Although it might not make a huge difference, the placement is not the most ideal for the most efficient and stable design possible.
