Performance Test 3 didn’t require the AEV to complete a specific task but allowed us time to work on the final program for the final test. From this extra period of testing the group created different theories to test to improve the AEV. From testing the group found that despite the high power method’s improved performance it was incredibly inconsistent with getting to the gate and often missed it’s mark by a lot. The high momentum of the AEV was unpredictable. Due to this constant inconsistency the program was switched to feature a hybrid version utilizing the low power method to get to the gate and then use the high power the rest of the way.
