This section focuses on the development of the physical appearance of the AEV, all documentation relating to this section can be found in design progress under documentation.
Sarah’s Sketch:
This design was created to eliminate extra parts while still keep the mass distributed evenly across the AEV. When looking at the sample AEV a major concern was the heaviness and slight tilt it had when on the rail.
Frank’s Sketch:
This design was made with a focus on weight distribution. A concern with this design is the amount of material required.
Kaibo’s Sketch:
This deign was made with a focus on the aesthetic and functionality of the AEV. The narrow nose at the front is placed in hopes to help with the AEV’s movement.
Chloe’s Sketch
This sketch was made with a focus on safety, due to its wideness and evenly places parts it would be large and difficult to break.
Group Sketch:
This sketch focused on weight distribution and minimizing resources while still trying to help with the aesthetic of the over all AEV.
