Meeting #17-19
Date: 4/2/18-4/6/18

Time: 12:45 pm – 2:05 pm
Location: HI 224

Attendees: Everyone from our group was presented and contributed equally to the meeting.

Task Allocation:

Weilie Lin: Will write code for the AEV running in this test, and catch the AEV on the far side of track 1.

Huang Huang: Will write the code for the AEV running in this test, and help complete the test while catching the AEV alongside the middle section of the track

Victor Reveron: Will run the AEV and document the data taken from the performance test

Gabriel Anichowski: Will complete the test of the AEV during the lab, collect the data, draw conclusions on the test, update the website and transcribe the data into a readable format

Objective: Finish performance test 2 and consider ways to attack the final performance test.

Upcoming Tasks : Complete the final performance test and work on the CDR and final presentation to complete the teams final research on the AEV.

Reflections: The performance test for 1 and 2 was completed and tested upon in class, the group decided to finish the second performance test quickly in class which would allow the meetings of next week to be more focused on designing other AEVs to compare the efficiency. The team then quickly decided how to best attack the final performance test.

Meeting #20-22
Date: 4/9/18-4/13/18

Objective: Finish the final performance test and consider ways to improve on previous codes to create the most efficient and effective method of completing the final test.

Upcoming Tasks : Complete the final performance test and work on the CDR and final presentation to complete the teams final research on the AEV.

Reflections: The final performance test was completed and tested upon in class, the group decided to scrap the idea of a code with coasting as the primary force to stop the AEV. Coasting was too inconsistent to create an ideal test, as the group had one chance to complete the final test thoroughly. If the group had more time, more focus on coasting and consistency would’ve been done.
