Reflectance Sensors
What role do the reflectance sensors play and what is their importance in achieving the final goal?

The reflectance sensors are an extremely important part in allowing the advanced energy vehicle to be somewhat automated. Using the reflectance sensors and silver tape, it will be able to read its current position and the distance it has traveled. In the final application of the advanced energy vehicle, it will be able to travel between Linden, Easton, and Polaris automatically with little to no human input. The reflectance sensors will allow it to sense when it reaches its destination by sensing how far the AEV has gone.
