Division I will follow the following steps for our approach to the AEV project:
- We will construct an initial prototype and determine its success by comparing it to the Key Areas discussed under our mission.
- Based off of the success and data gathered from the initial prototype, we will brainstorm changes that need to be made to maximize effectiveness.
- Upon completion of the preliminary labs, the more advanced labs will most likely address the AEV’s program with more detail. Through the future labs, we will begin forming the code that will make the AEV run smoothly on the track.
- Once an initial code is written for the AEV, we will test the AEV prototype on the track.
- We will construct a second AEV prototype that addresses the inabilities of the first prototype.
- We will most likely 3D print an object(s) that make the AEV more balanced and aerodynamic.
- Once we have perfected our code for the AEV and the AEV itself and made sure it addresses all of our Key Areas, we will be ready to perform a final test on the track for our AEV.
