Meeting Notes (01/26/17)
The team met on a Thursday, January 26th during lab at 1:50 pm. During this time, the group listened to the GTA’s presentation and waited to be told what needed to be accomplished by the end of lab. During this time, the half of the team assembled the standard AEV Sample Vehicle that was given in one of the AEV documents. Once that was completed, the team worked together to run the tests with the reflectance sensors. This part of the lab was a little confusing and difficult to finish, but the group managed to run the tests and get the sensors working properly. Once the sensors were working properly, the group coded the AEV according to how the lab manual described the inside track.
The other part of the lab was completed by the other half of the team. The group needed to gather data from a wind turbine and write it down so that data can be interpreted for the documentation part of the lab. A couple of teammates decided to do this while the other two assembled the AEV sample vehicle.
The group ran out of lab time at around the point testing the AEV on the track would’ve been appropriate, so the team decided to save that for the next lab. The meeting ended at around 2:45 pm.
