Meeting 1

Meeting Notes (1/19/2017)

The team met on 1/19/207 during class period from 2:20 P.M. to 3:40 P.M. in Hitchcock Hall. Shortly before the meeting started, the instructor gave instruction about what to do during that lab class. All team members already read through the lab manual before the class started which made lab on that day went smooth. Discussion to divide all the works among team member was led by the group leader. There was no objection when everyone got their task because all the task were given fairly. Though all member have their own task, everyone worked together on setting up all the apparatus needed by following exactly like the lab manual said to save time. After completed downloading the Arduino apps on desktop and finished setting up all the apparatus, the team started with scenario 1. All the team member decided to take turn to write the code so that everyone get the chance to learn how to write the code using Arduino. After the code for scenario 1 complete, three members looked and observed the other one testing the code on the AEV. It just took one time to successfully make the propellers move according to what scenario 1 want. Then, the group moved to complete scenario 2 which was more fun than scenario 1. The code writing process was the same like in scenario 1; all members take turn writing the code. Like the first scenario, one of the team members tried the code on the AEV. The whole group member excited when realized that the propellers movement sounds like Star Wars famous song. After finished both scenarios, all team members cleaned up all the apparatus before went out from the class. After making sure the desk was clean, there was some discussion among the team members about how to contact each other, when to meet for the next meeting and how and where to meet to complete all the task. Then, the group meeting ended around 3:43 P.M.
