Lab 10: Performance Test 3: Energy Optimization
During this week the team worked on making it so that the code and their AEV of choice was as energy efficient as they could make it. This was done by the team working on the code in such a way that allowed them to limit the amount of energy being used. The team first increased the amount for time that the AEV would be cruising for, this allowed for the AEV to cruise for a longer time, which in turn made it do that the AEV used less energy overall. The team plans on finding more ways they can optimize the amount of energy being used. Possibly by lowering power the AEV motors are initialized at, and increasing cruise time.
