Lab 4: System Analysis 2 & Design Analysis Tool

The lab this week consisted of gathering data from the AEV and using it to help improve upon the power consumption and performance of the AEV.  Using EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) on the Arduino Nano, data is recorded on the Arduino chip. With the help of MATLAB, the data can then be easily transferable to an Excel sheet. The data collected from the experiment contains EEPROM time(time in milliseconds), current (IE), voltage (VE), and wheel counts from the reflectance sensors. Using this information, time (sec.), current (amps), voltage (volts), distance (m) and position (m) can be calculated. The purpose of the data analysis test is to help the group determine where changes need to be made and how big of a change.
