System Analysis 2 + Design Analysis Tool

In this lab the team was able to put together the preliminary AEV design an record some testing on the rails. The group members were taught how to use the external sensors to take measurements which were recorded by the arduino and then turned into quantitative data.

The data was to be collected from a successful arduino run and then used to make graphs for the lab report. The problem the group encountered was the AEV was built wrong, with the wheels being on the wrong side of the arm, and thus would not run on the rails initially. This forced the group to have to rebuild the AEV which chewed up a significant portion of time.

Takeaways

General- Is important to revise if all the pieces of the AEV vehicle are attached correctly.

General – Is important to read the manual before class, due to time restrictions and a for better group performance in the lab.

General- The propeller of the AEV are really fragile, is important to use carefully each piece of the AEV.

Code- Is important to test the Arduino code from descendent to ascendant power. This will help create more possible scenarios and more relevant data.

Code- Work in the code before lab can help improve and save time in the lab.
