Our Approach
Our team wants to effectively design and create an AEV that is light and efficient. Our goal is to use as little power and money as possible, while still being able to carry out all of the required tasks. To do this, we need to modify things like the speed, weight, maneuverability, and balance. Testing the components of the AEV will be essential to determine how to effectively and efficiently implement each piece into the design. After testing is complete, we will evaluate the results and design an optimal AEV that will deem this project a success.
The key priorities of Team M are that we create an AEV that is as efficient and consistent as possible. We will be testing this by completing to advanced R&D labs related to efficiency: propeller configuration and battery testing. The data collected from these labs can be found in the “Advanced R&D” section of this website.
Our Pitch To You
Team M’s Advanced Energy Vehicle is one of the best in the business. We use strong materials, to ensure reliability and safety for our passengers. Our vehicle runs flawlessly across Columbus, and uses a simple, yet durable design. Overall the design is very compact and light, allowing for less energy usage while moving. A smooth braking system allows for safe stops, without heavily affecting passengers, while preventing crashes and ensuring reliability. Our vehicle can be seen in action here.
