Today’s agenda is to discuss the second chip design, based on the observations made in the first chip design. First, only two staging wells were in this chip , which was decided by the performance observed from the first chip. The detection well in the first chip had air bubbles, which the group concluded the bubbles were caused by the four staging wells. The check valves were altered by enlarging the circular valves to reduce back flow, and fish-boned valve was altered by rounding out the edges to decrease the pressure needed to insert the liquid into the detection well.

The team decided the person responsible for the Solidworks drawing and the calculations. Chan and Joe will work on the chip designs, while Julie and Syahidah will work on the operational process
