Content: Today’s meeting covered design ideas for the bonus chip submission. Both a tear drop and oval shaped check valves were suggested. The final decision was for tear drop. The possible channel shapes were decided to be one curved, and one curved connecting to a straight path, to see if a sudden cusp could add any value to channel flow. The team went on to decide that having the channels merge into one single check valve before going continuing to the detection well might help reduce back flow and air bubbles. The waste well design was left to the freedom of the Solid works authors: Joseph & Chan. A rough sketch was drawn up.
For the oral presentation outline, Julie and Syahidah volunteer to write an initial draft of the outline, using the rubric as a guideline.
