Lab 8b: Final Testing

Second chip design was chosen for the final test because of its more precise calibration curves. March 23rd calibration curve was used based on the accuracy obtained in the preliminary testing. The results are shown below:

Final Test using Second Chip

The deviation was determined to be very low, below 10%. Moreover, the results are precise, with the decimals only have deviation of maximum 2 compare with other trials.

For the bonus chip, lower concentration is tested, which is below 75 ppm. The calibration curve equation used is PPM=1.7023*Decimal – 17.187.

The results are shown below:

The percent deviation was also very low, which is 1.60%. This shows that this chip is also accurate in determining the lower concentration of fluorescein.

It was determined that both chips worked very well in the final testing, which shows that this chip can be used for the real testings.
