Lab-on-a-Chip Project

This project was done in Fundamentals of Engineering II (Engr 1182.03) course throughout the semester. It was done in teams of four. Lab-on-a-Chip is an efficient way to test the concentration of fluorescein using significantly small volume of samples. This is important to avoid taking too much samples from the patient’s body, so that no discomfort or risk will be faced. Furthermore, it is small and portable, so it can easily be stored and used in the lab. This chip is based on microfluidics and have micron-sized channels. Thus, the fluid flow is important to maintain great performance of the chip.
