The AEV Showcase is an event and a competition for all students in First-Year Engineering to feature their respective teams’ AEVs. There are two AEV Showcases, for normal students and Scholar students. Our team was part of the Scholars AEV Showcase. For more information, peruse the following link.
In the end, we did not implement the 3D parts on our final AEV design. The reason for this is the fact that we did not receive the 3D parts in time. Therefore, we had to improvise and build an AEV with the materials and information we were given.
Originally, our final AEV design would utilize the Servo to control a planar surface. This planar surface would have the two propellers attached to it. Theoretically, the propellers would rotate left and right. It is a nice idea, but we never had the opportunity to test it.
In response to our excellent work, we were nominated to receive an award for “Most Effective Communication”. During the Showcase, we were judged by three judges. We explained our AEV poster and presented the AEV Project Blog to each judge. Out of six teams, we attained third place. To see the judging criteria and score sheet, click on the link.
Food was also provided, and it was delicious. \|*∨*|/ \|*∨*|/ \|*∨*|/ \|*∨*|/—-Yay.
