Business Model

Value Proposition:

We are going to create value in the lives of our users by making the process of finding transportation faster, cheaper, and easier for on campus college students at The Ohio State University. This is roughly 13,000 people, though this group could expand to include anyone who doesn’t own their own method of transportation. Our research shows that these students mostly rent scooters and bikes to get around, however a substantial amount also use rideshare apps and short term car rentals to get around. There are currently many pains for students wanting to get to off campus location. These include: expensive, stressful, wasted time, and inconvenience. A solution to this could reduce college students’ stress substantially and provide them a more convenient way to get to their off campus destinations, while also helping them to stay connected to nearby family and friends.

When designing our solution we will make sure to incorporate multiple ridesharing services to provide more options for students to find the best ride. We will also have to make sure to include a feature that will make it obvious how students are either saving money, or finding a faster ride.

Our target user are on campus OSU students. This is a population of approximately 13,000 people
