This vehicle was designed to run on a track that is suspended from the ceiling. This vehicle is going to be representing a car traveling on the roads around Ohio State’s campus. This vehicle has a basket that the Arduino mounts to and has a slot for a battery to be inserted. It also has two propeller motors that will provide thrust for the vehicle. The vehicle is suspended from the track with an arm with two wheels mounted to it. Also, on the arm, there is a mounting spot for sensors to track how far the vehicle travels along the track. Information about energy usage will be collected using this vehicle and can be used to estimate energy usage differences based on whether a vehicle is in traffic or has clear roads.
