The real-world system is a tracked trolley that will run on tracks around the an inner campus loop. The trolley will be electronic and primarily self-driving. It will be an open-air design seating up to 15 passengers. Call buttons will be placed at designated locations around the inner campus loop for passengers to request a ride. While on-board, passengers will be able to press a button or pull a still to indicate their designated stop.
This trolley system will address some of the major pains described by our users such as overcrowding, unreliability, and timeliness by providing a reliable, safe, and easily accessible alternative to getting around campus efficiently.
