Individual Designs

Each member created their own orthographic sketch of a probable AEV design. These designs will be tested in a later Lab.

By utilizing the T-shaped body, there were be more space to adequately place the battery, board and arm. With the board in the back and the body extended, the magnet is assured to be 2″ x 2″ away.

(Considering the safety and service life, the foam was applied at both ends of the AEV to protect the body. Two motors were used got greater efficiency and were placed behind two propellers. )


Team Design

In order to ensure that the magnet is at least 2″ x 2″ away from the Arduino board, the body of the AEV is extended. The hanger will be mounted with the tail towards to front to counter the weight (of the board and motors) in the back.
