Before delving into what our group prioritizes it is important to understand the organizational structure of the project. Several companies are trying to tackle the AEV transportation problem, and our company Dreese Data Systems is divided into four teams. All of the teams in the company share their findings, but each team has a unique approach for solving the transportation problem.
For our group, one of our major priorities while undertaking this project is to control spending in order to minimize budget use. This will provide us with more funds which are to be used towards the end of the project if an emergency arises (for example: A component malfunctions and a new component needs to be developed and tested). This can be achieved through the implementation of a prescient system of accounting that anticipates costs in order to devise a means by which the problem can be dealt with efficiently.
Because we prioritize minimizing our budget, we believe that emphasizing on testing is important. Our approach will consist of rigorous testing so that in the future our AEV will not run into problems. If our AEV were to crash in anyway it would mean that more money would have to be spent in order to fix it. So it is of utmost importance to test our AEV well so that we conserve money.
