This project has been one of trials and tribulations. Group B spent the semester designing an AEV that meets all of the objectives in the Mission Concept Review while still being energy efficient. The very first idea was a light weight vehicle that would coast to a stop, however it was not consistent enough to be practical. After struggling with coasting Group B came up with the idea to use the servo motor as a brake for their AEV. This provided an effective method of stopping the AEV that could be relied on.
