Team M’s Mission
Team M wanted to construct an automated energy vehicle(AEV) to complete the mission of traveling to first gate, stopping before gate, waiting 7 seconds, and then traveling to loading zone. At the loading zone, the AEV will wait 5 seconds, connect to cargo, travel to gate, stopping before the gate and waiting and then travel through gate back to the starting position. The story behind this mission is from the Mission Concept Review, located in the AEV lab manual found in the references tab, which is to retrieve R2D2 units to bring back to the planet where interceptor aircrafts are being assembled by the rebel alliance to protect form the galactic empire. As a result of this location the AEV needs to be energy efficient, so Team M worked to create a light and cost efficient vehicle that would use very little power on it’s mission around the monorail system.
