Intro
The purpose of this lab was to complete performance test three. Performance test three’s objectives included successfully getting the team’s AEV to complete a full run. From here the team, increased energy efficiency by tweaking the code, testing it and analyzing the data.
Takeaways
- Each run causes the battery power to decrease. This affected the performance, so the code had to be adjusted slightly between runs.
- Need to quantify connection and pattern between number of runs (off of full battery) and performance.
- More coasting needs to be used to decrease energy usage.
- Cost and weight of our vehicle (all components) is finalized since all components are necessities.
