This was the final week of the AEV design project. The goal was to finalize all minor details and prepare for a final run. A new Arduino was obtained, and this one worked with the servos without crashing. This meant that team members could finally put the finishing touches on the design. This mostly consisted of changing how long the motor ran for to ensure it could complete its tasks with some margin for error. At the final test, the AEV performed flawlessly.
Takeaways:
1) The AEV successfully finished its final test.
2) The previous Arduinos did not crash due to user error. They were faulty and did not function properly when driving a servo motor.\
