Meeting 6: System Analysis 1 (Data Debugging)

Date: 2-20-2016

Time: 1:50-3:45 PM

Team Members: Nick Andrioff, Noah Eckert

Objective: Debug the Wind Tunnel Data in order to create accurate calculations in order to determine the most efficient propeller and configuration (pull vs. push).

As the team began to compute the efficiency and advance ratio, it became apparent that there was either error in the data entry or improper calculations. To debug this, the team came together to look over the calculations and measurements. After careful revision, the team found and resolved the problem in the calculations. With these, the team made two graphs that compared the efficiency and power that was created with each of the four propeller options.

Tasks Completed: Data Debugging and Calculations.

Date: 2-20-2016

Time: 1:50-3:45 PM

Team Members: Stefan Stropki, Niki Glass

Objective: Decide on the propeller and configuration, Complete Executive Summary 5.

With the proper calculations and appropriate graphs, the team members were able to decide on the propeller that would be most effective for the AEV design that was chosen. The team decided on the 3030 propeller, noting that both configurations, push and pull, were necessary for the AEV program. The team also completed Executive summary 5 and added several entries to the group website.

Tasks Completed: Propeller Decision and Executive Summary 5 Completion.
