Meeting 4: External Sensors

Objective: Calibrate External Sensors on AEV, Complete Executive Summary 3

The team built the AEV with the connected External sensors and created a program to run with the sensors so that the AEV would stop once it reached a particular distance. After the first test, when the AEV never stopped while moving around the track, the team needed to determine whether the problem was improper programming or faulty sensors.

After performing several runs with the AEV it was determined that the problem was with the sensors. Once they were replaced, the program ran smoothly with adequate function.

The team also completed the Third Executive Summary and added to the team website.
