The purpose of this lab is to collect data about the power usage by the AEV through the run, and also to give the team more experience with testing on the track. After performing this lab the team will have quantifiable data to analyze about the efficiency of the AEV. This data collected shows the team what parts of the code use a lot of power, and what parts do not. This is important to analyze, especially when making an AEV and attempting to be as efficient as possible.
The lab overall quantified the power used, and illustrated how much power different commands in the code use. This gives the team more information to consider for the final run, and how the code affects the power used.
Taking the data that was collected, a graph that showed Power Supplied (Watts) vs Time (Seconds) was created to see how the power changes in correlation to each line(s) of code. Below is the graph with it broken up into phases along with a table that shows how much energy each phase used.
