In Lab 8, the team tested two separate designs. The first design was a design incorporating ideas from the sample design given by the lab team. The second design was a lightweight, energy-efficient design that only used one propeller. Each design was tested and scored using a concept screening matrix. In addition to the scoring, each design was ran with code and analyzed using EEPROM data.
The EEPROM data showed that design B was more energy-efficient than design A. Design B was also more consistent in its results. The result of the vote by the team was unanimous: Design B was our final design going forward.
