Lab 3 was designed to help the team prepare to create a final design. The team learned how to analyze a design by using a screening matrix and a scoring matrix. Each characteristic of the AEV prototype and the other AEV designs were given a rating. By using the matrix, the team analyzed the strength of each design and were able to compare the designs to each other!
All designs seen in Lab 1 were tested and scored, along with the Sample AEV Design provided by the instructional staff. The matrices used to score the designs can be seen below.
