Lab 1 focused on the creation of designs for our Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV). Each team member created their own designs (as seen below). Cost and weight estimates were made for each design.
After each creating their own individual design, the team came together and brainstormed towards creating our initial design. We settled on a design with a lightweight design with a single wing across the middle of the AEV, with the battery and Arduino board situated on the main body of the AEV. All of our individual sketches, including our final sketch, are shown below, along with our executive summary:
Lab 1 provided the group an opportunity to crafted four unique designs and then the opportunity to bridge the ideas into a final idea.
