Each member of the team created a custom preliminary design for the AEV. They included cost of materials as well as general dimensions and weights. The team then voted and selected one design to use as the official preliminary design. Aspects from each team member’s designs were utilized in this official printing and it was optimized as best as possible for maximum efficiency and minimum weight.
The team decided to take advantage of the free 3-D print and laser cut and planned out two pieces accordingly. They determined this would be done at a later date.
The team also planned their next meeting in preparation for Lab 2.
