Introduction
In the set of experiments occurred over the past week, the team began to finalize the code for the Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) to complete all of its required objectives. The AEV had to start at the visitor’s center, approach the park gate, and then wait for safe entry. It then had to go to the storage facility where baby dinosaurs were loaded onto the vehicle. Then it had to return to the park gate, wait for clearance and return to the visitors center. During the lab, the team performed many trials to check to see where the AEV stopped in the correct locations, and for the correct amount of time. The team then altered the code based on these results. This lab memo will share the team’s final code, both showing the creation process and an energy analysis breakdown of it. This lab was crucial to the team’s development process, ensuring that the AEV could meet all the objectives outlined above and in the Mission Concept Review.
