The Future Of Higher Education

      Today we went to the Ramseyer Hall to attend the lecture of the future of higher education in the United States of America by professor David Staley who the professor in the department of History at the Ohio State University. In this lecture the professor talked about the future of higher education in the United States of America, at the beginning of the lecture Chris gave the attendances brief definition about professor David Staley.

     Professor David talked in this lecture about several things. He talked about the US average spending per student: in 2012, the states paid $ 5,906 and the student paid $ 5.189. He exposed a lot of information about the Online education and the future of this kind of education in the world even in America. He gave many examples to show us the history of the future of the higher education in the united States even in the world.

     I was really interested in this lecture. In my opinion I think the future of higher education in the world is the online education, but this transformation from the traditional education to the online education will face a lot of challenges to be successful and widely used in the world.
